This Privacy Policy describes how Medical ANS ("we," "our," or "us") handles information collected through medicalans.com and through our business operations. It applies to website visitors, prospects, and clients.
For client engagements, separate Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) and Master Service Agreements govern the handling of Protected Health Information (PHI) and confidential client data.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly — for example, when you submit our contact form, request a consultation, or correspond with us by email. This may include your name, work email, organization, role, phone number, and the content of your message.
We collect limited technical information automatically when you visit our website — IP address, browser and device characteristics, referring URL, and pages visited. This is used to improve the website and detect abuse.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use cookies for advertising or third-party tracking. We use a privacy-respecting analytics provider configured without cross-site identifiers.
How we use information
We use the information you provide to respond to inquiries, evaluate fit for an engagement, and communicate about Medical ANS services. If you become a client, we use your contact information to operate the engagement.
We retain inquiry information for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Client engagement information is retained per the terms of the Master Service Agreement.
PHI and client data
Where we handle PHI on behalf of a client, we do so under a signed BAA. Our HIPAA-aligned program governs access, encryption, logging, incident response, and retention for PHI.
Confidential client data, including network architectures, configurations, and assessment findings, is handled under the confidentiality terms of our Master Service Agreement.
Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we hold about you by writing to [email protected]. Where applicable, we will respond within the timeframes required by law.
If you no longer want to hear from us, reply UNSUBSCRIBE to any email or write to [email protected]. We will remove you from non-transactional communications.
